Open Settings from the user menu (top right) to choose a base map style. Options include light, dark, and satellite imagery.

Colour Ramp

Also in Settings, you can change the colour ramp used for choropleth shading. The default is a blue sequential ramp. Options include diverging ramps (useful for showing positive/negative values like swing).

Opacity

Adjust choropleth opacity in Settings to let more or less of the base map show through.

Hovering

Hover over a region to see its name and data value in a tooltip.

Compare View

When you have two or more layers, you can compare them side by side:

  1. Select two layers using the compare checkboxes in the layer list
  2. The map splits into a synchronised left/right view
  3. Pan and zoom on either side — the other follows
